My dear friend K9 has been particularly cruel to me recently. There I was, minding my own business and thinking she was great, when she had to remind me that Sarah Palin begins her book tour this coming Wednesday in Grand Rapids. Now, that's bad enough! But no, she couldn't leave it there.

"At which Mall are you working?" she asked*, seemingly innocuous.

"The Woodland Mall, I think. We've got a booth really close to the center of the mall. Why?" I replied, ever trusting.

"Well, because Palin is starting her book tour at the Barnes and Noble." Her tone implied I should have guessed what would come next.

"So?"

"The Barnes and Noble of the Woodland Mall. I don't suppose you're working that day, are you?" she asked, with callous and ill-concealed glee.

"Really? That's only a couple of stores away, and I... oh... god."

My past weekend was quite eventful =D Language exchange on Friday, human Clue at the Toronto Eaton Centre on Saturday and the Santa Claus Parade yesterday, where I met so many people! It has recharged my creative batteries (or so I claim, like all those other times before... but positive thinking, positive thinking!) which haven't been raring to go in quite a while. I mean, when was the last time I did some crazy inking? Pen & ink ♥

Well, I'll have time after next Tuesday, when PDEng wraps up. If I do the work in advance, then I'll have time sooner! Although the likelihood of that happening is uhh, very dependent on my motivation, which is never high when it comes to PDEng XD; The inking desire might help though =)

Considering I haven't written any on this today, I feel guilty posting, but I've been meaning to post for like three days, so.

Today was the usual hectic Monday, with the added complication of BossBoss being insane. But he did invite me to a weekend party to watch the Festival of Lights, which is this Saturday, so that's nice. Don't know if I'm going to go yet, but it's very informal, we're just having pizza at work and watching from the conference room.

And now I'm home making dinner and hiding from the world.
