Elaboration (Ha!) on current events.
Okay. So. Hi guys.

If the news hasnt reached you yet, myself (the artist formerly known as elaboration and ponderosa have both been permanently suspended from LJ. Yesterday I recieved, without any prior notice or warning, the following note from LJ:

Dear LiveJournal user elaboration,

It has come to our attention that one of your entries, located at http://community.livejournal.com/pornish_pixies/462939.html, contains drawings depicting minors in explicit sexual situations. Such content is in violation of our policies, and we take action when it is reported to us.

Due to the nature of this violation, your accounts have been permanently suspended, and we regret that we cannot allow you to create additional accounts on LiveJournal.

If you clicked the link, you'll notice that there's obviuosly no entry there, as my account's been deleted. Not just elaboration, but also oh__eff, ichiko and every other journal I created with my usual email (I'm so relieved this one survived). This also means that the images I uploaded with scrapbook are all gone, meaning, well, the majority of the art I posted here are all gone, and I have no way of getting them back.


Now.
The art that got me the suspension was a Fred/George painting that, hilariously enough, I drew for pornish_pixies "The Internet is For Porn" challenge after they were unexpectedly suspended back in June.
You guys here know my art style better than anyone. You know that while I read HP fic, I do NOT draw Chan/underaged art. Sometimes the age of the characters in my art is ambiguous, but that's the style I work in, and I'm horribly disgusted that LJ suspended me because of the way the characters LOOK. Quick guys, start pulling Junko Mizunos books from bookstores. Get rid of Allan Moore's Dream Girls while we're at it, yeah?
Also, look, Fred and George Are. Not. Real. They are fictional characters. Not only that, by the seventh book they are nearly 20 and therefore consenting adults.
This is very frustrating as I dont have a copy of the painting on this computer, and have nothing to site in my arguments. So if by any chance anyone here remembers and saved the image (titled Weasley Wizards Wanking), I ask that you PLEASE email a copy to me.

Look, I can understand and support LJ cuttind down on pedophilia and illegal content on their servers. They are just doing it WRONG. They are targetting the WRONG people and the WRONG groups.

Guys, I had a $150 permanent account. I only had it for 2 months, but it was a very expensive gift, and now a good friend is out a good deal of money because of this, and that is ridiculous.

I just dont even know what else to say. My GreatestJournal account can be found here, and it looks like I'll be posting all art (fandom or otherwise) here from now on, though being very careful about what I choose to post. Although seeing as all of the art here is underlock anyway, that shouldnt be a problem, according to LJ.
(Which obviously means no, I'm not leaving LJ all together. I still have a strong network of friends here, and you are welcom to friend this journal and the one on GJ)

[ETA] Thanks to amazingly awesome friends (and also because all of this has spurred me into finally taking my macbook to get repaired) I now have a copy of the picture that got me suspended. It's on Photobucket, as I wasnt sure where else to upload it o_o; It IS NSFW, so be wary if clicking. I dunno. I suppose they do look rather young, but I was not thinking of them as underage AT ALL when I drew this. fjalskdjfalsf. Piss and damnation.
